I had a knee replacement that I should never have had —and a rod instead of a hip replacement that should have been done due to lack of communication between Dr Hall and the referring doctor. Years later, the rod was taken out during hip replacement by another surgeon. I could not have the anterior hip surgery because of the rod. Recovery from hip replacement has been a nightmare, all because of the rod. I will never be able to walk unassisted again. My knee is worse now than before the replacement. When I was told I needed a Total Knee Replacement, I was told to see Dr. Hall. When I waked into his office in February, 2019 and greeted me, my husband and I felt immediately comfortable. Dr. Hall replaced both my knees and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. He has a great manner and is a fabulous surgeon. I went from not being able to walk a block to playing tennis again. I highly recommend Dr. Hall.

My first experience in knee surgery was back in the 80s through the years I've suffer with pain (needlessly) until now. I thought Dr Lublin in Richmond VA was the greatest. I made the decision 25 yrs later to have right knee replaced. Dr Hall came highly recommended by another orthopedic surgeon . Dr Hall and his office staff to include the surgical staff are caring experienced PROFESSIONALS. Sorry Dr Lublin my heart now belongs to Dr Hall. Dr. Hall performed a total hip replacement on my left hip. When I first visited Dr. Hall I was in constant pain and had limited mobility. He reviewed my history, performed an examination and recommended surgery. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but Dr. Hall very clearly explained the procedure, along with all of the risks. I would recommend Dr. Hall to everybody. He is wonderful. Very kind and will listen to your questions and answer without being in a rush. I was in so much pain last year before my surgery it was terrible. I was not a happy person. After my surgery in February my life has changed. No pain and no limping. I have not had any problems at all. The recovery was much easier than I thought it would be. I did go to rehab which is a must. LOVE this DOCTOR. Extremely knowledgeable. Very patient friendly. Immediately debunked previous diagnosis from another phys., correctly identified the problem and then FIXED IT. Dr. Hall replaced my left knee (full knee replacement) in 2016. I had waited for surgery until I could no longer walk. I had no complications w/ the surgery & was walking without the assistance of a cane or walker in 14 days. I was back to work (I am a Realtor & walk a lot for my job) in 21 days but continued with physical therapy. September, 2018, I had full right knee replacement without hesitation with Dr. Hall performing the surgery. I was walking and working within 14 days. He cares!
