I have been seeing Dr. Persaud for about 15 years. He is always on time and his staff is helpful and professional, and they always go above and beyond to accommodate me. The last 15 years would’ve been very difficult without his guidance.
Dr Persaud has zero passion for his patients. His business model is built around the fact that you will eventually be late or have to cancel an appointment one day and he will charge you a late fee of $150 even with notice if you're one min below his "48-hour policy" even in an emergency. Interestingly, it's difficult to make appointments for anything yet far in the future yet when it comes to filling in canceled appointments, it's nearly impossible for him. On top of that, he refuses to respond
Dr. Persaud was not thorough with my treatment, nor did he actually seem to care about my betterment and well-being. I say this not out of animosity but to share my experiences so that others may be spared a poor experience with their mental health treatment. Over a period of almost a year, we attempted two different medications with little to no success, and each time he would prescribe them without fully discussing all the potential side-effects, to which I had many including allergic reacti
