I thought Dr. Acosta was nice and knowledgeable and experienced, howeverHe led me to believe that I would never have to have bladder lift surgery again. Surgery was done under the auspice of Dr. Acosta on 4/14/19. My activity was very limited for six weeks and all seemed well at the time, however by September I need surgery again And I will not deal with his office again

THE BEST A LIAR THAT I MET EVER. HE ONLY HAS A GOOD TALE, AS A SURGEON HE IS ZERO. JUST IF YOU ARE CRAZY YOU CAN GO TO HIM. HE DID MY PROCEDURE, HE SAY THAT HE DID AND ALL PASS NORMAL WITHOUT ANY COMPLICATIONS. AFTER 4 MONTHS I HAD TO GO AGAIN ON THE SAME SURGERY AND GOT MEDICAL RECORD IN MY HANDS. HE DID NOT DO MY SURGERY, TWO STUDENTS DID AND HE DID NOT SEE WHAT THEY DID, AND LOOKED IN OUR EYES, HE TOLD MY HUSBAND AND ME ALL IS O.K. ..... BUT WHEN I GOT MY MEDICAL RECORD I SAW WHAT HE DID....
Have been a patient of Dr. Acosta's since 1997, he has taken care of my female surgery needs as well as annual exams for the past 20 years. He's even delivered my grandchildren who were twins, as well as my niece was delivered by him. The practice is extremely busy but the staff has always treated me with respect and courtesy. Would not ever go to anyone else other than Gulfcoast Institute of OB/GYN! :)
Dr. Acosta is very knowledgeable and competent Doctor and surgeon. He is also kind and compassionate and treats you with respect. He is sensitive to your needs and treats you accordingly. Would never consider going to anyone else!
