They NEVER answer the phone and when they do (it’s rare) you get transferred and you have to leave a message and they NEVER call you back!!! I’m on the hunt for a new PCP
Tavarez does not listen, he is always in a rush, the office took 5 weeks to send my prescription to the pharmacy even after several calls. When they sent it they sent the wrong dose and will not accept responsibility. I will never go to that doctor again. They also ordered labs and lied to insurance about it.
I was very disappointed with the care I received at this clinic, which ultimately led me to change my primary care provider. Even with scheduled appointments, the wait times were consistently long. The staff was unwelcoming, and the office manager in particular came across as dismissive and unprofessional. Great medical practice. Every one there is so kind and friendly. The Dr.s and the PA’s really take the time to listen to you and your concerns and always explain things clearly. Definitely a 5 STAR rating!
This is 4 years overdue. Staff and nurses were great - doctor ignored my requests to check my potassium and he told me to “look it up” when he said I had autoimmune symptoms of lupus. Had he listened to my request to check my potassium like I asked him to, I would have avoided going to the hospital and facing life-threatening situation. I’m so glad the doctors at DHR were able to question him as to how and why he did not honor my request.
