Office visit wasn't that long
I would not go to this guy. Would give 0 stars if possible!
So many negative things come to mind when reviewing my long history of seeing this doctor. He was nice for the first two visits. After that, getting an appointment with him specifically often had to be made as long as six months in advance. In that time, I had seen many other doctors he, or more often his aides, have sent me to for specific treatments. In that time, half of the other doctors have had words of contempt toward him. I am a USMC Veteran and I was referred to Atiga Family Practice through Triwest after 9 months of attempting to be seen by the VA and refused appointments for mental and physical healthcare because “they are too full”. They don't care about their patients. I have seizures and had 5 the day before I called to make an emergency appointment and the front desk ladies belittled me , gave me attitude, and when I told them my concerns she hung up on me. I called back to report the poor service to the manager and ask if maybe they could get repercussions for hanging up on their dying patients and she told me they don't have consequences and basically the nurses do what they want. It was a zero. You never see the doctor, only his helpers. I was told because of my age, don’t care, you don’t deserve any mamograms or Pap tests. ThAnk you Dr. Atiga! You really make me feel great! NOT!
My husband and I are fairly new patients, Dr. Atija presents himself as friendly but as you start seeing him he can be very inpatient and can give the impression he’s not listening. I have no complaints about the staff or the Nurse Practitioners I rather see them, office staff PAR EXCELLENCE! warm and extremely caring and helpful. I wish that We could give him more stars if he would realize we go see our Doctors, sometimes just to have someone listen to our woes not to come out feeling worst.
so belittling and degrading with he way he spoke to me. I left the visit feeling horrible about myself + didn't even get a change to say why I was there. Didn't see what the purpose of the appointment was- maybe for him to just belittle me? Literally trash. Changing primary care doctors immediately.
Horrible office. Zero Professionalism. Charging me $50 for communicating that I could not make it one time prior to my appt and that I was running late and the receptionist told me not to come in when I was in the parking lot looking for a parking spot. Rude workers, my first visit with dr. Atiga was a waste of money. Collected my copay and told me basic info I already knew. Find a different doctor. You won’t regret it.
