Total time of visit five hours .. of at least which 4 hours and 30 minutes was just waiting ! Which apparently is normal ! Faculty was very dirty .. mold in bathrooms. Dr was nice but that didn’t matter due to the wait and uncleanliness.
My son was 8 years old when he was hit in the eye with a large tree branch. He had a fractured orbital, severed tear duct, and his upper eyelid was no longer connected to his lower eyelid. He was sent by ambulance to the hospital where Dr Turbin performed an over night surgery. Dr Turbin was in surgery with my son for 3-4 hours, making sure all the splinters were out of the gaping hole he had between his eyeball and orbital bone. He truly cares..
I've been seeing Dr. Turbin for a couple of years now. It's always around 5 hours! He's an excellent ophthalmologist, but I don't know why he can't arrange his appointments better. I see another specialist in that office, and I never have that kind of wait. Emergencies happen, but every time? Doubtful...
He's very caring, but I was in the office for 5 HOURS! He rotates the patients, one goes into the examining room, getting drops or something, then is sent back to the waiting room and waits while another patient is called in. That patient comes out and the first one goes back in. There were 3-4 of us going through this. But Dr. Turbin's the only neuroopthalmologist that takes my insurance, so thank you Obamacare...
