I was very rushed during 2 of my appointments with this doctor. I wasn’t explained anything about the cystoscopy procedure I had the 2nd visit and it wasn’t done properly - the sterile field/gloves were not used besides other mistakes. This facility puts your heath at risk and nobody is accountable.

Dr. Poffenberger was the urologist on call this morning. My husband has stage four prostate cancer and had just finished his 10 days of radiation. He hadn't been able to void urine in three days, so I called, as his urologist is a partner of Poffenberger. I asked him what to do; he cut me off, told me to go to the ER. Oh, I said. And he comes back with "What do you want? I can't get him to urinate over the phone." Wow. If it weren't for my children, who are docs and were advising us, we may have just given up then.

My daughter has special needs and while in the hospital and with her outpatient check up Dr. Poffenberger was so patient with her and explained things so well for her. He showed great compassion and was easy to work with to ensure my daughter was treated with respect and the care she deserved. I would recommend him to others for any urological / surgical needs.

5 days before my appointment with Dr. Rodney Poffenberger, at Rayus Radiology, I underwent the MRI he had requested. For reasons unexplained, the results were not fully available on the afternoon of my appointment, 5 days later, 11/26/2021. Yet, I was told everything was probably fine. As requested, I provided a urine sample, the physician evaluation was: "it looks good" --whatever that means. I wasn't made aware that any further analysis had been or would be made.
