We moved to Florida and all I can say is dr. Dipaola s expertise and honesty could be used here. He is a great listener and evaluates very skillfully does not do unnecessary testing and incorporates what you are looking for in handling your illness. He does not impose tests just for the sake of them and shows respect for his patients. My husband and I missed him dearly. If I make back to NJ he is the doctor I would go back to.
This was my first visit to Dr. Di Paola with my husband. My husband has had Parkinson's disease for 5 years and we have been to several neurologists during that time, looking for the "right" one. Well, Dr. DiPaola was the one we were looking for!!! He was kind, caring, thorough, professional, and we didn't feel like we were being rushed through the visit so he could get on to his next patient. We really felt "heard" and "understood". This was the BEST visit to a doctor we have ever had for my husband's illness. We both were ... read more
This Doctor is very very knowledgeable and best of all he listens- he also has no problem referring you if things are not going up to task. I refused this extra help because I believe in this Dr and his abilities so much
Waited almost an hour and a half for just over six minutes of his time. Sounded knowledgeable until he recommended CBD oil as a treatment as well as Xanax. Did minimal testing and suggested two possible diagnoses but stated that one fit more than the other.
We just moved here, my husband has had Parkinsons for 17 years, controlled by a deep brain stimulator (DBS). Dr. DiPaulo, recommended by my husband's prior neurologist, gave my husband the most comprehensive exam he has ever had, listening to both my husband and me. He is extremely knowledgeable about Parkinsons and DBS (I know because, as my husband's advocate, I've done a lot of research). We highly recommend Dr. DiPaulo to anyone in this area with Parkinsons.
At first he is all business but then lightens up. Like him very much. Felt he listened well and asked questions based on my statements so felt he was paying attention. Arranged tests to further evaluate my condition.
