Not very personable, nor compassionate person. Saw me for about 2 minutes and doesn’t appear to like her job or people.
I have been a patient of Dr. Messing since 2005, with annual appointments, and now Bi annual appointments. Over the years I have found her to be extremely competent in the identification and treatment of several types of precancerous lesions. This includes early diagnosis of Melanoma and coordination with an excellent surgeon. She is blunt and to the point. I appreciate that. I’m not there for idle chitchat. My time is also valuable. She diagnosed a skin cancer, helped me connect with a surgeon, and stressed the importance of my following up on treatment. I love her.

Dr Messing diagnosed a cancerous lesion on my husband's head. She was professional & very accurate in her prognosis. She referred us to a surgeon who removed the growth. Nice to know she is very skilled, knowledgeable and caring.
It took her 4 appointments (and 4 co-pays and billing to insurance) to do what my new dermatologist did in two visits. They continue to make you come back unnecessarily. I had several moles removed and it was botched. Now, I have huge scars for the rest of my life. They also probably don't take your insurance, but they won't tell you that when you arrive.
Very blunt, haughty, insincere, and rude! RN too. Terrible bedside manner. Really did not care-did not once even look at my hands, thigh, feet for which she glanced over and said it was psoriasis. After having side effects from different meds, she told me they were not side effects. I told her they could be-I am a pharmacist. Did my own research for alternative treatments. Would never recommend this doctor to anyone. My comment-If you've not walked in someone else's shoes do not judge.
