I absolutely love Dr. Schubert! Best Doctor I have ever seen! I hope he is still practicing in the area and that he will let us know where he is located now. Not happy with the Dupage Medical Group.

One of the best Doctors I have ever had. He is down to earth, caring and looks at the whole picture. Have always had good and timely responses from him and/or his nurses. But, lately, since DuPage got involved, the personal care is not there. Always changing appointments and making it sound like it is your fault (you missed your appt.). They claim they are Dr. Schubert's nurse, when in fact, they aren't because if it is serious enough, they have to transfer you to his office.
Best Doctor in the world. I have been with him over 20 years and truly wouldn't want to see another doctor, however the new merge has made things totally impossible. You can never get an appointment or talk to anyone about anything. You have to wait days for answers when you used to get a call the same day. Impressed with the Dr. not impressed with Dupage Medical Group.
I have been with Dr.Schubert since he was just out of medical school and his internship .he has taken care of me nearly 30 years and treats me respect and listens to my concerns about whatever ailscme at the moment ...3 operations later I see him smiling down on me first am after surgery as if I was his father.....if all doctors were like Dr.Bob there would be no need to buy malpractice insurance..... So completely devoted and knowledgeable about whatever your body required... I give him 10 *S
Love Dr. Schubert. He is mine and my husbands Dr. he is incredibly kind and takes his time with you. However, this new merge with Du Paige Medical is a nightmare. They are totally unorganized, not friendly on the phone. Continually change appointment or canceling all together, they say the dr is not available. It will be interesting to see how this all pan's out. Du Paige Medical is buying a lot of offices in the area. Nurses are GREAT. If it's urgent you talk to Paula! She gets you in!
I think Dr R W Schubert is one of the finest Doctors in the area. However, trying to get an apt within 2 weeks takes an act of God. The Nurse Practitioner is always offered, but I want to and pay for a Doctor's exam, expertise and opinion. The wait is always at least an hour to see him. And now with this new merger with DuPage Medical, we'll see what changes.
I like this doctor. I respect his opinions. He seems to be a very good doctor. But something has changed recently and the change is not for the better. Lately, he doesn't keep any of his scheduled appointments. He cancelled in January. I rescheduled for February, but he also cancelled that appointment. I rescheduled for March. However, he postponed that upcoming appointment another 3 more weeks. What good is having a doctor that doesn't keep appointments!
