In 1997 I had a 6 cm aneurysm in my abdomen, DrOblath performed an open surgery and put a graph going down my aorta and into the iliacs. Six days in the hospital and 5 weeks of recovery. No complications of any kind. Dr. Oblath saved my life. It’s been 23 years now and no problems. I would recommend him to anyone, especially someone needing a complex surgery!
Dr. Oblath is a terrific surgeon and a great human being. He was the only physician to realize that the stents put in by another surgeon had collapsed because they were too long. He had to harvest a long vein from the same leg and by-pass the stented areat. He said I was about to lose my leg. The surgery went well and Dr. Oblath did a "miracle" job on me. He checked on me daily at the hospital and set up good after-care. Dr. Oblath is a real "mensch". I would recommend him highly.
I was referred to Dr. Obtlath by my Nephrologist, Dr. Eyal Shtorch, for placement of a Fistula for Kidney Dialysis. Dr. Oblath explained in understandable terms what was involved in process. The surgery was a success and after seven days I still have not had any pain Pam, his receptionists, was accommodating in making appointments and scheduling my appointments with the doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Oblath for Vascular Surgery!
If your lucky enough to have to have Dr Oblath as your doctor then look no further. I feel that he saved my life and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for your medical needs A great caring doctor!.
Dr. Oblath is an excellent surgeon with a very caring attitude which I found unusual for most surgeons. He literally saved my life and his after care was thorough, caring and supportive. I have no hesitation in recommending him.
