After seeing Dr Bloom for over two years, I wrote two non-complimentary reviews. I looked at this page again today in which he claims to have ner seen me as a patient. Nice try to cover up the truth. After telling of a trauma in my life, Dr Bloom told me he didn't believe me. Then he said he would like to hypnotize me to which I left his office and never returned. I'm sorry for the thousands of dollars I gave him. So lying is another huge negative trait he has.
I cant say enough about Dr. Bloom except thank you for our first visit back in Nov 2001 and every visit thereafter to present. Please DO NOT retire. Without divulging my PHI, this wonderful caring physician has supported me with all my mental well-being concerns. He responds quickly to phone messages, prior authorization for prescription, and even suggested alternative treatment medications when I didn't have insurance for a small time frame.
If Dr Bloom were half as qualified as he thinks he is, I might have become a patient. The only reason I saw him is he was referred to me by a psychologist for medication. After seeing him weekly for well over a year, I do not recommend him unless, after telling him a painful childhood memory, you want your doctor to say he doesn't believe you.
Does unprofessional things like loses records when needed. Bangs a book on the desk to see if you pass out, seriously Dr? Not when a patient has driven alone to the appointment, these can be old traumas and hard to recover to drive home, very very dangerous. And watch your billing statements….. This guy needs to retire now.
