Bay Area Eye Specialists aren’t careful with how their Front Office Staff practices safe hygienic procedures with their patients-that’s a shame! Coming in for a Post Op Exam instead of politely offering their mask box, their Clerk grabbed a mask while touching the inside of the mask with her dirty hands and when I asked for the box so I could pick up my own mask the nasty Clerk said she was going to Charge a Dollar$( she was serious!)since she had already handed me a dirty mask. Dr. Louisa J. Lu was my choice of physician for cataract removal and lense replacement surgery due in part to her reputation for excellence, but also because of her good communication skills. Thank goodness for Dr. Zhang and her entire team. Not only are they the top professionals in Ophthalmology, Dr. Zhang has an extensive professional network of other specialists that have been of huge benefit. She also listens well and always problem solves for each patients' unique situations and needs. I highly recommend Bay Area Eye Specialists.

Staff was helpful and instructive. Dr. Zhang fit me in at the last minute and was patient, thoughtful, and answered my numerous questions.
