Dr. Jury recently performed a whipple procedure on my husband. He is one of the best doctors we have ever met, and one of the most caring human beings we know. He exudes confidence and his experience in pancreas care is unparalleled. He is a pioneer in his profession and we trust he will continue doing great things in research and advancing his chosen profession after retiring from surgery. He had and has our complete trust and he has given us life and hope. He is an amazing human being!
Dr. Jury removed my gallbladder that was causing many health issues. He is an excellent doctor. His staff is great. Explained everything In detail, easy to talk to. Very good surgeon and experienced. I had no issues from surgery and now feel great.

Dr. Jury and his staff were excellent. I moved my mother in-law from a 4 week stay at a different hospital for a second opinion. Dr Jury and his team were excellent at every level. Because of him and his team, she is alive, at home and has quality of life. I would recommend them to anyone wanting expert care, honesty, good communication and follow up.
Dr Robert Jury is a five star Doctor in my opinion. His bed side manner is beyond reproach and he gives you a clear understanding of possibilities that could result from the surgery. He is the best Doctor that I have met. Thank you Dr. Jury for saving my life. He performed the Whipple surgery on January 27 2016 for me and it looks like I will make a full recovery. Dr Jury operated on my father with the results Stage 4 pancreatic cancer, having left the tumor as inoperable. After advising me not to take my father elsewhere, I decided to try UTMB under Dr. William Nealon: looking at his report, was sure he could take the tumor out and he did with clear margins. We had to wait two months to get him down there as we await Dr Jury to put stints in, finally after several failed attempts he released him to a radiologist I would highly not recommend him
I am alive today because of the treatment and surgical procedures I received from Dr. Jury. He and his staff have ALWAYS been there through some very difficult times. It is without any reservation I would recommend him to my family and friends. In fact, I have done so, and each of them share my opinion of this outstanding surgeon and individual. Never around when he is needed or paged. Clueless about his patients. Does not care if a patient needs immediate surgery. He goes by his schedule not by necessity.
