Dr Mazo is the worst Dr I have ever come across. At 72 I've seen a lot of doctors over the years & love or really like all of them. This man is arrogant, rude, self absorbed & just not a nice person. First appointment he walked in the office, spoke 30 minutes about himself, going back years on a personal level & having nothing to do with my case. Thank goodness he is retiring & I have found another neurologist who I just love.
I give 1 star only because this review won’t let me give a .25 star. A self important pompous man. I was waiting in the exam room moving my appointments from paper to my phone he assumed the papers were for him. He told me to put them away he didn’t need to see them. Then proceeded to speak in a condescending manner and pointed his finger and pen at me. He did not review my chart prior to my visit. Had he done so he would not have asked the questions that he did. Unprofessional. Front office does not greet people when they walk in. I waited 30 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me. My appointment was at 1 and not one person knew where the doctor was. He wandered in at 1:20, walked right past me and still I waited another 15 minutes for him to come out, he never did so I walked out and changed neurologists.
Just horrible! first impression not good. He came into the room like a tyrant and spoke to my 13 year old son like a 30 year old grown man , I told him your not to speak with my son like that he is 13 , I said perhaps your having a bad day. And even when things settled down he still decided to make snide sarcastic remarks. I will be finding another DR."
