I had a cystoscopy back in 2013 and I was completely unaware of the process. They barely numbed me, did not put me under anesthesia, and had the office door wide open so people in the hallway could see everything happening. I am now traumatized to this procedure and I need to make sure everyone knows. I would hope things are different in the office now, but make sure you don’t let any doctor take advantage because you are a naive 21 year old and doesn’t know the right questions to ask. I now refuse to get this done.
