I’ve needed a knee replacement and saw the doctor, he said I needed to make appointment to see a surgeon. I asked him to help with the pain until I saw the surgeon and he said “ I don’t do that you’ll need to see the surgeon for that so I left. I made the appointment with the surgeon as soon as possible and that was a wait of a bit over 2 months in constant pain. Very adversarial attitude, confrontational and condescending. Quite obvious about the fact that he considers patients more than an inconvenience and treats you as though you are wasting his time from the moment he enters the exam room. Exudes self - importance that his skills do not merit in any way. I went to West Wichita Family Physicians on the strength of several outstanding referrals and their overall excellent reputation. After going through my patient portal and reading Dr Ullom's angry, all-caps notes, there is nothing positive I can say about this PCP. I thought he at least sort of cared. I have had a better experience with telemed doctors than I ever had with Dr Ullom. To get to the bottom of my issues, I have now been seen by psychiatrists, psychologists, neurologists, otolaryngologists, and now, finally, after thousands spent on doctor visits, CTs, tests, medications, and MRIs I took the opinion of some random telemed doc to go see a ca... read more
