I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kelly. He is thorough, patient, personable and truly wants the best for his patients. I was burdened with a bad knee and am so grateful I chose him to do my surgeries. I highly recommend Dr. Kelly to anyone who is looking for an all around great orthopedic surgeon.
Invalidated all of my concerns about my health and told me that there is "nothing wrong with me". He repeatedly asked me "what do you want me to do" as I tried to explain to him my symptoms. He tried to rush me out and make me look like an idiot, like I don't know the pain I am experiencing. I pushed to get an MRI and he reluctantly gave me an order. Dr Kelly and his staff have been amazing. From my first meeting to discuss my MRI results, through surgery and many follow ups (in office, on weekends and through patient portal) he has always taken the time to explain the current process and answer all my questions. I cannot recommend Dr Kelly enough.
My 17 year old son hurt his knee during football, Dr. Kelly was our 3rd opinion but gave us 3 different surgical options. He sat down and not only explained everything he would do during surgery but drew everything out so that my son and myself would know exactly what would happen. He personally called himself to check on my son the following day. Dr. Kelly is smart, knowledgeable, caring and has a great bedside manner. He explains your medical problems in layman’s term and makes sure you understand the issues and the process for treatment. I like his conservative approach to treatment. There is no rush to surgery. He and his staff promptly answer any orthopedic questions in a caring and friendly manner. I have recommended him to all of my friends.
Worst doctor ever. He didn’t listen to me and caused me to have extra surgery. He all about making money. I hope I never see him again.

Dr. Robert Kelly is one of the most outstanding doctors I have ever met and had care for me. He and his staff provided the highest level of care and expertise while revising two previous incorrectly done surgeries by another doctor. My knee is the best it has felt since my injury in 2011. I am 53, Dr Kelly was referred to me by my PCP and several friends. I had a torn meniscus and Dr Kelly operated, stitched it back together, I went through all my physical therapy at Resurgeons and 13 months later I am writing this review to say that I am completely at the point where I was prior to my tear. Dr Kelly was awesome and I highly recommend him as surgeon and Monica at Kennesaw Resurgeons Physical Therapy as a therapist. Thank you both. You guys rock!

De. Kelly has performed 3 surgeries on me. Rotator cuff, biceps tendon disconnected from forearm and knee cartilage torn. It takes a lot for me to brag on a doctor but he's awesome in my book! I work out pretty heavy weight training (lifting) and everything he fixed feels great!
