Thorough friendly best ophthalmologist in Syracuse
I went into a procedure recommended by Dr. Druger for multifocal lenses. I have (had) macular degeneration. I believe it was unprofessional for him to encourage this procedure when it had no beneficial results for me. Cost me a lot of money out of pocket.
Wonderful Doctor and staff. Had 2 cataract surgeries without any problem. Very professional and will explain things. Dr. Wallen is great also. Husband has also seen him and is satisfied with his care. We have had him for several years.
I scheduled an appointment to see Dr. Druger for a second opinion. I had been experiencing increased blurred vision for over 12 months. My routine optometrist explained "it was just age" and "I would have to just flern to live with the situation". I was provided with an appt within two weeks. My cataract surgery did not have good outcome and Dr Druger didn’t accept responsibility. He made lots of promises, but failed to follow through. Now dealing with a lifetime of bad vision and chronic pain. DON’T DO IT!
went to him twice. The first time I was there for 2+ hours and saw him for a total of 5 minutes. Just went yesterday and walked out after I waited for one and a half hours and never saw him. I left work early to make it to the appointment! HORRIBLE! Never again
Extremely dissatisfied with Dr. Druger. You see his staff for most of your visit and you're lucky if he spends five minutes with you. He PUSHES cataract surgery without much explanation and wants you to recruit more patients for him. I had a negative outcome with the implant procedure (after more than a year I require different strengths of reading glasses accompany me everywhere). Would NOT recommend him.
This was a very good experience. Knowing I had to have the cataracts done his team made it very easy to go through. Thank you Dr Druger and the team
Very pleased with Dr. Druger's expertise in eye problems and willingness to discuss my options. His staff is friendly and helpful as well.
