Dr. Wienecke is caring, professional, friendly, and most of all, an extremely talented surgeon. His preoperative attention to my overall health probably saved my life! I always feel like I am his only patient when we are discussing my care, never rushed, always relaxed and Dr. W always answers my questions in a way I can understand. Dr. Robert Wienicke is phenomenal. I have two Harrington rods and fused from T1 to L4. He has performed 2 surgeries on me with them being an exact year apart. I have nothing but positive to say about both him and his staff. He's an incredible surgeon with great bedside manner. I truly trust him with my life.
Sometimes when speaking to doctors it is easy to get nervous and forget a question or two you wanted to ask. Every visit with Dr Wienecke he seems to pick up on the multiple things running through my brain thus he will be quiet at the right time that allows me to focus and walk away with answers to all my questions regardless if they may have seemed strange to another doctor. Plus he has never responded to me "you are a register Nurse aren't you" that has happened by others
I have seen Dr. Wienecke for two major neck surgeries the past nine years. His skills are unsurpassed in the OKC area, and his kindness and compassion endear him to patients and staff alike.
Dr. Wienece was a down to earth dr. He did not talk over our heads, showed us where the problem was and explained what could be done.
I cannot think of any reason why I would not recommend Dr. Wienecke. His skill has been instrumental in improving my life.

Dr Wienecke was recommended to me by someone who works w multiple neurosurgeons in Oklahoma. Dr Wienecke is patient caring attentive and explains his diagnosis and answers all my questions. He's honest and forthright about how he an truly help u surgically (or not). I appreciate his candor, experience and skills as a surgical consultant on the neck and back. You'll never be sorry you came to consult w him if you have cervical or lumbar issues.
