LOVE Dr. Hampton. I had a lot of pain in my wrist and he diagnosed it quickly (De Quervain's tenosynovitis) and I had been having a LOT of pain. He gave me options in an extremely timely manner and I had a tendon release done soon after. He was very transparent , kind, respectful and gave lots of info on exactly how the procedure played out and explained recovery very well. Zero pain after surgery besides the soreness. Terrible experience.. Dr kept blaming my back etc for my 2 years of misery. Winds up the replacement was loose. I went to university hospital found a dr who could help me.. had a revision turned out great and he just did a tkr on my right with great results. I would not recommend Dr Hampton he shows no compassion.
First visit for knee pain in January. Took x-rays and said not much arthritis. ordered an MRI. The day of the MRI was informed MRI declined by insurance. Went back in May still suffering.Told him MRI declined. He said I had lousy insurance and it was probably arthritis and nothing he could do. Gave me a script for tramadol and sent me on my way. In November had knee operated on for torn meniscus by another doctor.
He recently performed surgery on my right ankle. He did a great job and was great at communicating everything that was going on with my injury and what would need to be done. Very friendly and a great surgeon.
