Horrible bed side manner. Invalidated my pain and told me that does not hurt.
Torn rotator cuff November of 2015. Operated on my shoulder and it’s been great for the last four years. He’d did a great job. Thank you, Dr. Fields.
The Dr. was seen for second opinion on knee replacement, but instead of saying he wasn't familiar it, he had an associate try to drain fluid from it. It was done without numbing of any kind, and instead of draining it, hit the metal in my knee. Needless to say, they were unsuccessful and question why he didn't do it himself.
I couldn’t leave a zero so I reluctantly settled for one star!!! From the time I walked in the door I knew the appointment wasn’t going well at all ...the staff wasn’t courteous and it’s no wonder their boss was even worse...he was rude, insensitive, and down right condescending...the worst dr I’ve ever met !!! I would never ever recommend him !!!!
Dr. Fields has been very supportive during his care for me. He did the meniscus surgery on my left knee and it has healed very well.
Told him I couldn't walk, took tons of prednisone and anti-biotics over the past three months and could have ligament and tendon problems, I feel pain in my right crotch and leg. He took ex-rays of my right hip, said my hip was fine and sent me home saying, Stay well. I can't stay well because I'm not well. I still can't walk without pain. I called his office in Westlake and the office manager said she would email him. He never called me. Dr. Fields, do your job!!

No help whatsoever, billed me anyway. Went in with tendinitis in my elbow, left with same - because after waiting over two hours in his waiting room for a scheduled appointment, Dr. Fields flat-out refused to treat the injury. Instead, he arrogantly told me to take more Advil for a month and then he'd think about the cortisone injection that I knew would fix it as it had in the past.
