So glad I found Dr. Kohn. He took time getting to know me & my condition, never rushed me, good at answering questions, well knowledged, kind, friendly, & funny. I trust him. Never once over-medicated me. He's helped me find better meds than other dr's pushed that didn't work. I LOVE this doctor! Office staff is friendly & professional. Waiting room is clean & relaxing. No complaints about him or his staff. I've had many psychs before & he's by far the BEST! He's also a neurologist. 5 stars!
This doctor is wonderful. I've only ever heard good things about him. My best friend sees him and she's never been happier with a psychiatrist before. He took her off all the old meds that didn't work and finally properly diagnosed her. She's doing better today than she ever has in the past 20 years!!! Thank you Dr. Kohn. If it were not for you I'm not sure my friend would still be alive. You've saved her life and her spirit. God bless!
Rob knows basically nothing about the drugs he prescribes. He thinks the common symptoms of antidepressant discontinuation syndrome is "bipolar," despite his DSM-IV-TR pointing out this is a blatant misdiagnosis. All doctors learn in med school that combining the antidepressants and/or antipsychotics is unwise, because this can make a person "psychotic," via anticholinergic toxidrome. Rob denies this, and misdiagnoses the iatrogenic illnesses he creates, with his "invalid" DSM disorders.
When my previous physiatrist stopped practicing about 2 years ago, Dr. Kohn was one of the doctors he recommended for treatment in my area. Despite living/working ~45 mins from his office, I’m very pleased with his holistic approach to treatment. He is the most thorough, caring and thoughtful doctor I’ve worked with, and goes beyond just writing addictive prescription medications to temporarily relieve symptoms.
I found Dr. Kohn to be one of the most caring physicians I have dealt with. It takes time to listen to you and treats you as a whole person not as a disease
Great Office - Marcia was so helpful
After following this doctor's prescription for Klonopin and a myriad of other drugs to a T, and suffering bad side effects, I experienced horrendous withdrawal symptoms after also following his advice to stop the drugs. Now, years later, I am still struggling with the effects of these drugs and that fateful decision to put my health in this doctor's hands. In a fair and just world this man would owe me millions of dollars for the suffering he's put me through! If you value your health stay away.
Worst experience EVER! He is no doctor and his staff is down right NASTY, dont walk but run from this office!!
I've seen Dr. Kohn twice now. He claims to have sent in an order for my medication to the pharmacy at my first visit. They never recieved it, same with this second visit. Did absolutely nothing to help my depression, simply said "you're fine". Looking for someone new.
