I did not have a good wisdom teeth extraction with Dr. Doriot. He warned me that since my nerve ran very close to my tooth, I may have complications of a slight numbness or hypersensitivity in my lower jaw. He never mentioned I would have a horrible, stabbing pain in the front of my mouth for weeks following my surgery. When I complained at my followup, he said "well, you're the first one that's ever happened to. My wife is a patient of Dr. Doriot. He is truly a modern day Lazarus. Very smart and nothing short of a magician when working with the patient. I should've gone to him when I had my root canal done. We're lucky to have him in the Washington, DC metro area.

I had my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Doriot and was very hestitent due to a wedding one week later and a vacation two weeks later. Dr. Doriot assured me that procedure would not impact my events and he was correct. The procedure went flawlessly and there was no pain or discomfot during the procedure or afterward. I had my wisdom teeth extracted and compared to the stories of friends, Dr. Doriot did a terrific job. His office overall was great. The office decor was very inviting and soothing, it had kind of an earthy tone. The staff was very courteous and informative. Beyond the cosmopolitan chic of this modern office, one will find a knowledgeable, precise young surgeon who genuinely cares for his patients. He is current, if not ahead-of-the-curve, on industry standards and innovations. The whole process was very thoughtful, with pain and swelling minimal. Simply great all around. Personnel were all extremely curteous and well trained. My 9 year old son had an impacted tooth pulled and could not have been treated any better. I recommend any child needing major work done to go to Dr. Doriot. He totally put my child at ease and made the whole thing a lot easier on him. Can't say enough good things about the whole experience.

Was recommended to Dr. Doriot by my family dentist Dr. Weaver. Dr. Weaver understood the level of anxiety I had about having the procedure done. I had my wisdom tooth, impacted, taken out. Everything went very smoothly, including recovering from general anesthesia. I was in pain a few days later and I called his office, which was closed at the time. Dr. Doriot returned my call in a couple of minutes. If you live in downtown and can drive to the suburbs, visiting Dr. Doriots office is worth the trip I would recommend Dr. Doriot to a member of my family, definitely!
