Dr. Cykiert's recent cataract surgery for me was disappointing. My vision was not corrected adequately and now I need reading glasses as well as corrected lenses for near sidedness. He is also very arrogant in person.
Dr. Cyckiert is the best opthalmologist in the business. I needed cataract surgery on both eyes, and the results are nothing short of amazing. I use glasses only for reading now, and everything beyond two feet is clear and bright. I'm a painter, so my vision is very important to me!
Fabulous doctor and worth the lengthy wait. He saw me on an emergency basis and when he couldn’t perform a test I needed that day he brought me in the next day even though the office was actually closed and I was the only patient.
He removed my cataract and I now enjoy perfect vision. Excellent doctor. Made it all easy. Highly highly recommended.
No wonder that Dr. Cykiert was Chief Resident when he was completing his medical training and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society, when he graduated from medical school. He operated on my eye at the NYU medical center, and I was grateful to have him perform the surgery.
I consulted with 5-6 Doctors before I selected Dr. Cykert to do my surgery. He’s the Doctor that other Doctors recommend, and they were right. After I used him, so did my mom and dad. I’m now bringing my daughter.
I've gone to several good doctors. Being a good doctor isn't only being thorough and diagnosing your patients correctly but also how you speak to patients, answer their questions and speak to people in general. I am also asian and my accent clearly irritated him and bothered him. I had an appointment with this man and I realized he is a terrible human being, terrible etiquette towards others and for that I wish I could give him a lower star than one. He speaks as if he has a you know what up his you know what because he thin... read more

Very good doctor once you get in the room with him. Until then, the office feels like a parody of old-school doctors’ offices: I have waited as long as an hour in the waiting room, no ability to email the office or get anything electronically (records, forms, prescriptions, instructions, or appointment confirmation), the staff makes patients complete the same packet of forms at every visit.
