He did amazing explaining medical terms to where i understood them and answerd everything and took his time and finally set my mind at ease saying what steps we are taken next and how everything works i highly recommend him!! Because for once i felt heard and understood it isnt just a job to him he actually cares about his patients
I have been treated Dr Chao for the last 4 years. I have found him to be an excellent doctor. I appreciate his approach to my care and he takes the time to answer my questions even if the answer is “we don’t know”. Some of his specialities can be challenging to diagnose and treat.
I don't understand the negative reviews on here. I have had a great experience with Dr Chao. He took his time to diagnose with proper testing and follow ups and confirmed my diagnosis. I am now going to go on the biologic I need to help me in my everyday or when my conditions is worse at certain times. I appreciate him listening, caring, and not just brushing me off like every other back doctor did! Thank you Dr.Chao for giving me a chance to feel better and slow my condition.
I am very disappointed with my visit with Dr Chao. I saw him for evaluation of my multiple joint inflammation/pain. I was not satisfied with his response when I asked him about Biologics. He was dismissive and showed no sympathy or empathy. My visit with this doctor was a total waste of my time. My PCP has been more helpful than Dr Chao. Searching for a new rheumatologist.
