First and foremost, he appears to be very knowledgeable and capable. He thoroughly discussed my situation which was months ago (took that long to get an appointment) and answered all of my questions. However as other reviewers noted, his personality and demeanor do appear challenged. Lets face it, seeing a urologist is not a pleasant experience to begin with but I have had great experiences with other BILH Urology staff including NPs who were more empathetic and had what is generally called “bedside manner”. He did a varicose vein procedure for me two years ago, and the results were solid. If you care more about outcomes than personality, he gets the job done but he’s arrogant, has zero empathy, and his bedside manner is seriously lacking.
This Doc is awesome. I saw him at his last location. I'm glad I found out where he is as I plan to return. I have had some urologists that just didn't suite me. Dr. Roberts was the first one I felt comfortable talking to and he was so knowledgeable. He didn't rush Mr and answer so many questions that I find embarrassing. Since he left his last location I haven't had a urologist like the one my hospital uses I felt discriminated. Its maademe afraid to see anyone else.
Dr. Carrasquillo is a great doctor. He is a professional and likes to do things by the book. He is confident in his knowledge and abilities. I had a procedure done and all went well. Everything was explained to me and was willing to answer any questions I had before and after. As others have mentioned, Dr. Carrasquillo and his staff are very prompt in replying to messages.
