I don’t personally see Dr C but my husband does for a genetic condition that effects fertility and I have been to every appointment with him. We have tried for many years to have children and felt hopeless. Dr C offered a surgery to retrieve sperm and it was successful. We finally have our baby boy and we owe that in part to Dr C. I’ll be forever grateful for his knowledge and skill in what he does. He’s a wonderful physician and would highly recommend him.
This Doc is awesome. I saw him at his last location. I'm glad I found out where he is as I plan to return. I have had some urologists that just didn't suite me. Dr. Roberts was the first one I felt comfortable talking to and he was so knowledgeable. He didn't rush Mr and answer so many questions that I find embarrassing. I had two appointments with this physician in recent months, most recently last week. Since then, I have decided to continue my care with a different urologist outside of the Lahey network. While he may be a very capable urologist clinically, my experience with his bedside manner and patient communication was disappointing. During both visits, he greeted me briefly, without a smile or handshake, and then went directly to the computer. I receive Good services from this hospital .
First and foremost, he appears to be very knowledgeable and capable. He thoroughly discussed my situation which was months ago (took that long to get an appointment) and answered all of my questions. However as other reviewers noted, his personality and demeanor do appear challenged. Lets face it, seeing a urologist is not a pleasant experience to begin with but I have had great experiences with other BILH Urology staff including NPs who were more empathetic and had what is generally called “bedside manner”.
