Had a cyst removed on my back and it grew back. It cost me $800+ I went to a specialist and he advised me the doctor who did it did not remove it all so it came back, said he did not do a good job:(. When I called dr Backsteins office they said there was nothing they could do it grew back. So I would not recommend this dr because he first did a poor job and did not stand behind his work! Sad!!
Dr. Backstein has operated on my hand for 3 different issues years ago. All very successful and appreciated. On April 8th, 2024 he removed a growth on my leg which he immediately suspected was an SCC, which is a firm of cancer. He also took a scraping from my other leg which looked suspicious. I am completely confident in this doctor. I hold him in the highest esteem. His admin, Gail is absolutely amazing. She is helpful, kind and organized. If only all offices could have this type of admin
Dr Rob Backstein removed a cyst from my forehead earlier this year. His team was very fast responding to my questions, and was able to get me in quickly for removal. I am quite nervous of needles and medical procedures, he made the experience very comfortable. The incision healed well and the scar is barely visible.
Never got to see the doctor. Waited over a month on a referral. Called in twice, and finally got a call back telling me the dr couldn't do the procedure I needed. Wait lists are one thing, but the blatant disregard for patients is unacceptable. Why would it take a month for anyone to bother to look at the referral? The incompetent receptionist couldn't understand why it was an issue. Avoid
