He is genuinely concerned about your health and issues. Very kind and really listens to you. I have been seeing Drs and therapists for over 40 years for my condition and he is the best!
Good luck trying to schedule an appointment. The man that answers the phone should work at a funeral home instead! I understand if Dr. Summerour is not taking anymore patients but their clerical support should be at least empathetic and perhaps offer alternatives. The man that took my call was curt, offered no options or alternatives even when I asked. He just kept repeating the same thing as if I was incoherent; no apology, no concern, just cold as ice! I think he’s a little too full of himself!!! ... Didn’t like him, felt he did a very poor job with me...
Dr. Summerour is by far the best psychiatrist I've seen in the last 20+ years. He is so kind, compassionate and patient. My depression has been very difficu to treat, and he has been the only doc that's given me hope. He spends about 30 minutes talking with me every time, giving me insight and listening to my concerns. He is a wonderful doctor.
I have been seeing Dr. Summerour for several years and even though I usually have to wait a bit, he always listens and seems to be able to connect with me on some level. I have no complaints of him as a Psychiatrist.
I have been going to Dr. Summerour for years and what a great doctor. Office status wonderful.
