Dr Jason Sims was without a doubt the most compassionate, intelligent, skilled specialist that I've experienced with my 97-year-old mother. He spoke directly to her, explained her heart failure in terms she could understand, asked her tenderly "are there any things that you want to do at this stage in your life?", was frank with her (and me), about the next steps being palliative care or hospice. A real gem of a physician. Highly recommended.
