Approx. 20 years ago I had lost my insurance. I had very little time to get to surgery. After 3 er visits. My private Dr admitted me to the hospital. Dr bannister was the only surgeon he trusted with this emergency surgery. Unsure what was going on other than gall stones Dr bannister stepped in. I had a hard casing around my gall bladder which I can only assume helped keep me alive.
