I love Dr Chitakki and her staff. They always make me feel comfortable and welcome. I am comfortable with talking to her about any an everything, whether it's something that involves my health or not. They always fit me in for my appointments, even when I need one asap. And plus I've been going to her for years and she's always taken great care o me :)
I would give her zero stars if I could. She is not a professional by any definition. My experience with this doctor has been nothing short of a nightmare.
Dr. Chitakki has been my doctor for approximately 8 years. I first had the pleasure of meeting her when she was at another location in Laurel and after one visit, I informed her that she was stuck with me. When we first met, I truly appreciated her warmth and compassion that she has displayed to me as a patient. This professionalism continued at her private practice, and was enhanced by her warm and friendly staff, convenient hours, and the ability to schedule last minute appointments.
Dr Chitakki's been my primary care doctor for over 7 years! I'm totally satisfied with the care I've received for routine and other ailments/conditions. Her staff is wonderful as well! I'm able to reach her via her MyUpDox.com portal account and send her attachments as needed. She takes the time to listen, and she ensures I understand all her comments entered into my visit reports she prepares for each visit. My health has improved since I began seeing her. She & her staff are outstanding!
As a new patient of Dr. Chitakki, I find her to be very thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She spends time really getting to know her patients and listens to concerns, focusing on preventative care as well as sick visits. The office staff is wonderful-very friendly and accommodating. I had the option to have routine lab work drawn right in the office for a minimal fee ,which was a huge convenience with my busy schedule. I would highly recommend Dr. Chitakki for primary care!
I've been with Dr. Chitakki for many, many years and referred several people to her. I love everything about her and her practice. They don't overbook, so there is little to no wait time, but when you truly need a same-day appointment they fit you in. She listens, she works with you, she's compassionate, and a good diagnostician. The entire staff is friendly and the office is clean (and quiet!). I consider her a true partner in managing my health.
I have been with Dr. Chitakki for over 10 years now and I love her friendly and jovial personality. She will always do her best to fit me in even if her schedule is tight. I never have had to wait more than 5-10 minutes once I sign in with her competent staff Monica, who is also a wonderful part of their team. Another thing i really like is that at each appointment, Dr Chitakki reviews your medical history to see if anything has changed, which is important as I age, because things do change.
You will find yourself subjected to her insufferable front desk staff, long-wait times so that you get 10 minutes of face-time with the doctor, and a condescending doctor that will order frequent unnecessary procedures for her own profit incentive. If you ask for an explanation of her charges, she will accuse you of insulting her expertise and will go on to demean your profession. Simply put, this is not a doctor that will care about you.
Dr. Chitakki is one of the best doctors I have had. In fact, when she left her previous practice to open her own practice, I, and my family members, followed her. She has a fantastic bedside manner and I love the way she goes over the notes of the current visit. This is especially good for older patients to hear what the doctor is putting into the visit notes. When I find a good doctor, I stay with that person. I will not be leaving this practice for a long time.
