Sadly, my mothers experience with this neurologist was deeply disappointing and distressing. My mother was living with a terminal neurological disease (MSA), and throughout her care (which was short lived - she was traumatised by this man) she was misdiagnosed, dismissed, and treated with a complete lack of compassion. I had a terrible experience with Dr. Rick Stell, he not only misdiagnosed my migraine condition, but took a long call in the appointment and did not read my notes nor listen to my symptoms. I have to say this is definitely one of the worst appointments I have had, thankfully I have a great neurologist now treating Migraine. DO NOT go here if you are looking for a knowledgeable and personable neurologist.
Must admit Rick seemed pretty impersonal on first consult. However each consult became more comfortable for me …and I have nothing but admiration for Dr Stell. He has helped me immensely since my PD diagnosis. Have no hesitation in recommending him, you’ll be in great hands
Another number.....He went through the motions very quickly on what he obviously tests everyone on and he said there is nothing wrong with me. I wouldn't be there is there was nothing wrong with me! In, out and paid with no possibilities to discuss. Need to get a 2nd opinion as he has got it wrong because the symptoms just don't happen by themselves. For the $500+ outlay I would have expected more questions about my symptoms, lifestyle etc, I don't think there were any, he just looked at the referral. For someone of that exp... read more
