Through the years Dr Gehlert tried to salvage my right femur after I experienced a stress fracture and then failure. He eventually corrected my leg with a hip and femur replacement with the pre-op warning that I might have a severe limp afterward. I do not however and I walk at times with a cane only. He has an all-business facade but after a while a patient will see he is a real sweetheart! He gave me my walking back! 2/24 - I give up. I made a 7:55 am annual follow up appointment with Dr G. Had an appointment with Dr. Gehlert yesterday. Waited over an hour in a room with no one taking vitals etc. After asking to speak to a supervisor, A PA came in & hurriedly had me move my leg & said Dr. Gehlert would stop in. He never did. So 2 hours later I was asked to followup in 6 months!? Why would I bother with a Dr. That can’t be bothered to at least introduce himself. Horrible experience. Would not trust this Dr.
