My previous long-term physician had finally retired so I switched to Dr. Uribe about a year ago. He has been kind and patient with me, listened carefully to all my concerns and been more than willing to help me to explore all treatment options. Super happy to have found him! He's got a patient for life (or until he retires) :)
The practice is not helpful or even friendly. I requested a prescription refill at 7:44 am. Called at 2 ish asking if my request can be filled. She said to expedite any request I need to come in but there are not any appointments. . I am having a severe goit attack in my left foot. Not able to walk at this point. The refill is a medicine I have been getting for this overbite past 20+ years. No one could take 5 min to get my prescription refilled.m. I was in the ER, choking on my own blood. When my symptoms stopped for a second, Dr. Uribe said I could probably go home. He shrugged. I explained the vomiting would come back, and he said there was nothing he could do for me bc there was a shortage of iv bags. I understand that, but I don't think that justifies giving up and sending me home bc he didn't know what to do.
