Best doctor! Listened to all of our concerns and addressed every issue. I feel that my boyfriend is in great hands with Dr. Shehane.
Didn't ask a single question or even pretend to care about lifestyle, diet, stress, mental health, or other symptoms before ordering a stress test and heart monitor. Didn't bother to obtain or look at chest x-rays over a two month period. Didn't give more than 3 minutes of his time per appointment. Didn't attempt to diagnose, understand, treat, or even acknowledge symptoms.
Dr Shehane made me feel a lot less stress after seeing him. He is very professional, and he explained everything to me. He has a lot of experience and I feel very comfortable having him as my doctor.
Had heart Cath performed yesterday by Dr. Shehane. Couldn't insert stents. Must have triple or quad Bypass. Dr. said to call his office in morning for an immediate follow-up for surgeon referral. Called office. Explained urgency. First available appt not for eight days. Just to get referral? Come on kids, get with the seriousness of the program here!
Scheduled appointment because my Doctor was unavailable. During appointment, no communication, no input...his conclusion..schedule a stress test. What?? no reason other than did not have one last 5 years. The previous Doctor said, no longer required. He didn't want to be my Doctor, and the feeling on leaving was mutual.
Stent inplanted. Dr was just AMAZING. Inserts thru wrist not thigh. I was 99% blocked, Dr Shehane did a great job. I feel lucky he was my cardioligist!
