He has been my pain management specialist for 20 years. Obviously, I like him. He has a pleasant bedside manner, and is very thorough. I trust him implicitly.

Most of the times I’ve been seen by nurse practitioner Megan. Her bedside manner is very good but today January 2nd had an appointment 8:45 am. But I was 15 mtos late because I was confused with the time of the appointment. Someone from the office called and said Megan couldn’t see me because her schedule doesn’t allow her. I explained that I was in pain and should arrive in 10 mtos. I also begged the secretary because I’m 1 hr away from them. This is how you treat your patients? Unacceptable.

Dr Winne is great, a truly nice, calm expert in pain management, but his staff is awful. Lisa in Dr Winne's office is the rudest medical staff I've ever met or even heard of. The follow up is done by people like Lisa who don't really care about you. In addition, the follow up is done by 2 different offices who apparently don't communicate. You probably want to steer clear as long as Dr Winne is supported by these kinds of people..

Horrible, caused permanent disability! Did an epidural injection, under deep sedation ( which was unusual as pain management doctors always make sure I am awake when giving me that injection to avoid mistakes & numbness), I woke up from sedation with severe numbness in my whole one side, also severe pain in my whole side! I necame unconscious. Only nurses were there, he didnt care to come or even acknoledge his mistake that he hit the cord & cause spinal Ischemia!& permanent numbness in hands!
