I had my LASIK done with Dr. Maw, and he truly changed my life. I am forever grateful to him. Being able to wake up and see clearly right away — and care for my child without worrying about glasses or contacts — has been incredible and life-changing. Dr. Maw is genuinely caring, takes his time, and makes sure every question is answered, which gave me complete confidence throughout the process. I cannot say enough good things about him and highly recommend Dr. Maw to anyone considering LASIK.
Oh my goodness!!! If you want a doctor’s office that runs like a well-oiled machine, you have found the place!! Dr. Maw and his team have thought of everything!! Any questions I might have had were always well addressed and mostly before I had even asked them! The cataract surgery went well. The day after my first eye was done, I could read the bottom line on the chart. However my vision deteriorated such that I could only read the 4th from the bottom line by July. I had purchased the most expensive lenses, so Dr. Maw, for free, offered to do Lasix surgery and guaranteed I would have excellent vision after that. I had the procedure done Aug. 1. I had LASIK eye surgery yesterday and he did a phenomenal job! Extremely happy with the outcome and couldn’t be more happier! Thank you Richard Maw for all your hard work and making this possible for me! Him and the staff at the west Des Moines location was amazing helpful nice and very considerate. 10/10 recommend.
I was very apprehensive about the cataract procedure and Dr Maw led me through what to expect before, during and after the surgery. I couldn't be happier with his proficiency and professionalism which is greatly appreciated.
