Dr. Lavi is impressive, immediately we were at ease. It was a breath of fresh air feeling like welcomed guests rather than just another patient. The appointment was made for my sister who has learning disabilities. For us, finding a doctor that is patient and has compassion treating her with respect is as essential if not more so than finding one with the proper credentials and experience. Dr. Lavi is the most caring and knowledgeable allergist I have ever seen in the past 15 years I have been working with allergists / immunologists all over the country following my service in the USMC. In Ohio I tried the Cleveland Clinic and the Cleveland VA . The level of care I received from Dr. Lavi has been leagues above either of them.
I saw Dr. Lavi at the beginning of 2024 after having problems with inhaled and dermatitis allergic reactions. I explained problems with skin care products and cosmetics along with inhalants. I also explained known allergies such as seasonal allergies and dust. He skin prick tested me for what I had already told him I was confirmed allergic to. He said I was an "itchy person".
