My previous provider at the Wound Center (Deb) was excellent and has moved on to a well earned retirement Since, I've been seen twice by Dr. Rasper. His communication skills have been most notable. He is able to explain medical issues in ways layman (iike me) can readily understand. Put another way, he is a good teacher. I am not optimistic that my wound will ever heal, but I think I am getting the best chance possible with the folks at the Streetsboro Wound Center. I have much respect for the entire staff.
Dr. Rasper, DPM cares about his patients. Dr. Rasper is brilliant and patient. Thank you Lord Jesus for sending me to Dr. Rasper.
Was sent to dr.Rasper by my primary physician for sharp pain in my toe joint that had been an issue for 11 months before I saw him. Dr.Rasper examined foot and X-ray and determined I needed to have a bone scan done. Without informing me of cost or reason for bone scan he sent me over for what was a $3,400 procedure. The results came back negative , he suggested I rest it for 2 weeks and see if it gets better. I switched physicians and am now having surgery on my foot. He simply didn't care.
I had surgery done on both feet at the same time for 2 bunions, cross-over toe & hammer toe. Dr. Rasper was friendly, informative & professional. Healing process went much smoother than expected and I was back to normal activities within 8 weeks. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes for an office visit even though I never felt rushed when talking to Dr.
I have seen him perhaps hundreds of times over the years for chronic wound care. He is am friendly, cordial, and well beyond just competent. If you have any problems below the knee from hangnails to foot surgery then this is the doctor to see.
