Richard Wright has been my cardio for years. I've seen him approx. 8-10 times. My visits are made for my reasons: usually to check cholesterol, change statin prescription, etc. He never responds to my concerns, & always thinks he's checking my aortic valve. He prescribes many CT-scans & MRIs. I ask why. He gives nebulous answers. Last 8 minute visit, he wrote up an After Visit Summary that was totally false, listing 17 subjects discussed that we never discussed. I came to Dr. Wright after treatment by another Cardiologist-I swear if he retired and moved to Timbuktu, my family and I would be following shortly. He is the BEST-explains every issue perfectly clearly and debunks a lot of Cardio nonsense that is out there....if you can get in to see him-do it-your life depends on it

Five stars across the board w/a stellar bedside manner. They don't come better than Dr. Wright. He came to me highly recommended by a former patient. (friend relocated and moved too far out of the area to continue to see Dr. Wright).

He is an exceptional Doctor, and I'm so happy I found him. He explains everything so well, and I know I'm in good hands.
As a former physician and medical malpractice attorney, this is the consummate cardiologist. I first met him in the ER where u was seen for a heart dysrhythmia. My apprehension was immediately assuaged upon talking to him and his explaining what was going to be done.. I have followed with him for 15 years. If there is a better cardiologist I doubt it. He is always on the cutting edge of current cardiology. I cannot believe his rating is other than 5.
