My child was taken to surgery 4 hours late. The dr did not come to talk to us prior to the procedure and post surgery he did not show up to talk to us in the conference room. In recovery we had to ask for him to come in to talk to us. He basically said that everything went well but failed to tell us he used 9 pins to reduce the fracture. You can imagine our surprise when on the follow up appt an xray showed this! For his next post op appt I went into the exam room as well. I saw Dr Robichaux for a knee pain. I had x-rays done and an injection. The injection eliminated the pain for about 5 days. I went back and had an MRI in the facility. I was told within an hour that I needed a partial knee replacement. My surgery has been scheduled for 2 wks. I was told an overnight or two would be recommended. I felt very informed when I left. I am hopeful for a full recovery.

Terrible bedside manner! He acted like I was wasting his time. He did not ask about my medical history or accident history. I waited in the room 45 minutes to be evaluated for a DVT and he came in squeezed my leg, told me I didn't have a DVT and to take Advil. Then he left. He was in the exam room less than 2 minutes.
