While Dr. Mallin himself is a very competent, caring doctor, his staff is horrendous, continually failing to respond to requests from my pharmacy for refills. It would appear that because he's such a nice person, he doesn't stay on top of the staff.
He never answered my wife's questions after surgery too busy with next patient
I have been a patient of his for 8 years. Not only is he a wonderful position but he's also a great human being with a wonderful bedside manner. He is in a league of his own.
I waited an hour and a half with no recognition of the delay from staff in the glen cove office. They were borderline rude. Have been to Dr Simonson before and had a good experience in great neck office. Dr Simonson's diagnosis and information was fine for my shoulder injury but will look for someone else next time. (Hopefully won't need a next time)
I'm not going to rate this before I speak with him about prescribing OxyContin to my husband for over 6 years...to be continued
Dr. Simonson has performed six surgeries on me already, and each surgery has been very successful. I'm going to have a double knee replacement shortly, and I wouldn't think of going to anyone else to do this surgery. He's a remarkable physician who is very professiona,l and he keeps me fully informed on my medical issues.
I needed a knee replacement for years. Went to 6 different surgeons and did not feel confident till I met Dr. Simonson. He is caring and has a great bedside manner. I had my knee replacement and had a great experience from the rehab he sent me to as well as the after care from Dr. Simonson. I would definitely recommend this Doctor to anyone who needs orthopedic care.
Have been using Dr. Manners for 20 years. He is extremely knowledgeable and explains everything so well. He is responsive and listens to all concerns. He speaks to the children and has a great rapport with them. He addresses medical situations seriously, without being an alarmist, which has prevented my children from being subjected to unnecessary medical tests and procedures over the years. A GREAT doctor.
Waited over 90 minutes and did not get any acknowledgement or apology for doctor being late. Staff was not terribly helpful. Doctor did a basic exam of both knees, explained my condition very concisely but did not answer all my questions or really explain fully why my knees hurt. I think he assumed i knew more than i do about my knee issues. His diagnosis and treatment plan did make sense to me though.
