What a disappointment. I called to make a medical appointment and explained that I would need to self-pay because I don’t have insurance. I was told I could qualify for a sliding-scale fee based on income, which in my case is zero, but that I would need proof of income. When I explained that I don’t have proof because I don’t have any income, I was told I could ask a family member or friend to write a letter stating they support me financially. I had an EXTREMELY positive experience during my visit to Dr. Pascual just yesterday. He was not only thorough in going over the results of my recent blood work, but also VERY PATIENT in explaining all of the details to any of the questions or concerns that I had for him. If you're looking for a doctor who genuinely cares about your health and well-being and one where you don't feel like you're being rushed and just another cattle in the herd then I highly recommend Dr. Pascual!!
