This was my first time seeing an eye specialist. I was a bit nervous. It was very crowded when I arrived. Got checked in and the nurse at the front desk was so receiving and helpful. Once I filled out the paper work I only waited about 15 minutes before seeing Dr. Akstein. He was so professional and caring. He ensured I would be ok. He prescribed me eye ointment. I went to Dr. Akstein's practice in Riverdale GA after a co worker sprayed me in the eye with a chemical. Dr. Akstein stated I had glaucoma and cataracts so severe that I required surgery like yesterday. He gave me drops for my eye for one week. I set an appt with another Dr. for a second opinion. Dr Akstein is a very caring eye doctor. My husband and I have gone to him for many years. If it were not for Dr Akstein, my husband would be blind due to diabetes.
