I honestly believed this dentist had integrity. My first review showed a kind and caring dentist. Now I realize that it is not about the patrons,but more so about his wallet. He dooped me. And smiled while he did it. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE FOR DENTURES, BIG MISTAKE,AND PAYING UPFRONT GIVES HIM THE RIGHT TO NOT FINISH MY TEETH. BEWARE OF SMILING FACES
I used to love taking my daughter here until she actually needed to have a procedure for fillings. For a five year old to go through her first procedure and not allow a parent to be back with her while she is scared and screaming to the point of hearing her in the waiting room is not ok. I tried speaking with Lou at the office to let me at least sit with her during the procedure so she is not by herself and with no empathy from Lou at all it is a stern no for me to be with my five year old because of COVID. Both of my boys have gone to Dr. McGough ever since they were old enough to go to the dentist, and I recommend them to everyone I know. We get in and out so quickly, and the staff is super friendly and efficient! My youngest son has severe autism, and going to doctors and dentists is very traumatic for him. My daughter has been Dr. Renee McGough's patient for about 10 years. She loves her visits!!! I love her visits too! Our wait time is between 5 to 10 minutes... and sometimes even less. All the staff members are kind and personable. They make an effort to remember her and are always interested in WHAT and HOW she has been doing since the last visit. The waiting and procedural rooms are really clean and inviting too. I would definantly recommend them.
After just moving to Longview; our two year old had a spot on a tooth that we were concerned about. She had just had here teeth cleaned one month before we moved. Asked around and was referred to this office. Called and scheduled an appointment and had to wait several weeks to get her seen. Dr. McGough did a max two minute exam and said she was fine. Get a bill from them stating that I owe and additional fee beyond what my insurance paid. They billed $72, Insurance allowed $44 for a two minute exam. WOW! I received a bill fo... read more
