I was admitted at Thayer Campus for a surgery that another surgeon was doing. They gave me a medication called Versed (I am not sure the correct spelling) which makes you sleepy and relaxed before a procedure. Be careful with this anesthesiologist. She made a note in my chart to not give me narcotics after surgery for pain because I appeared to be “sleepy” in pre-op. Note: she said that I was sleepy AFTER they gave me meds to make me do so.
