My encounter with her was actually shocking. She didn't introduce herself when she entered the room. Wouldn't look at me. Asked me questions and then cut me off when I tried to answer. Extremely condescending. I almost thought I was being punked. Worst encounter I have ever had with any physician. I see other reviews giving glowing feedback which I absolutely do not understand. She must be a different person in different settings. I couldn't wait to leave and would never see her again.
She is a Very Through Dr. Excellent care!! Highly recommend her.
Never met anyone more knowledgeable about my condition and best ways to handle it. Eternally grateful - I got lucky when I found her a few years ago. Highly recommended!
I see Dr. Moxness for thyroid and osteoporosis. She listens well, answers all my questions and knows her stuff. I also found her personable, She knows I’m a real person, not just a body. She works with me, providing information which helps me make good choices. .
She was DREADFUL. Not interested in me at all. Barely spoke to me on our first visit. Had an attitude - like she just didn't care to have me as a patient. I have been a diabetic for over 50 years. I know about doctors. She didn't even hardly examine me. Not interested in testing my heart. Nothing. This one was worthless. Charged me $500 to write some prescriptions. Office staff not very knowledgeab;e An expensive wastd of my time
I met with Dr. Moxness a few weeks ago to have her take over the care of my low thyroid. She treated my thyroid condition for 5 months before seeing me. It took 6 months to get an appt. She gave me an ultimatum that she would only care for me if my levels worked for her, not for me and how I feel. I was in tears and have seen many doctors. By far the worst. I now see a different doctor who is working with me versus dictating.
I am a lifetime diabetic, and had had it for over 50 years. This is not the doctor or practice for me. The dr. was not very thorough - didn't even look at my eyes. Seems to be into preventing complications and not interested in dealing with someone who is past that point. I didn't benefit at all from the visit. Office not run very efficiently. I can't trust them with my health needs. Wait time of 4 months for appointment.
My internal medicine and GI specialist wanted me seen by an endocrinologist and just because my initial test wasn't a huge red flag they refused to see me. Absolutely ridiculous that professionals would recommend a consultation and they refused even to meet with me. Yes I have insurance and would have no problem paying to the appoint. I am more than disgusted. What is even worse is that they never called to give me this information I had to call multiple times.
Dr. Moxness is a bright doctor, who knows diabetes well. She spends a good amount of time with patients. She answers questions with her opinion, but leaves the treatment decisions to the patient. She is less versed in pituitary issues, but still does a good job overall.
Dr. Rebecca M. Moxness, MD has a 3.5 star rating with 16 reviews.
