I had Dr. Cody in Myrtle Beach SC for about ten years and I sure miss her. She was so thorough and I knew that I was in the best of hands. I had a tumor that was growing and she was constantly checking it and even called the surgeon at MUSC for his opinion. I had a MRI every three months. When she left I had an uncaring doctor that said to go to MUSC for help. I miss her.
I asked specifically for a Ferritin level test when I made an appt. and asked if the Ferritin level had been tested in the test she ordered and she insisted it had been. Well, it wasn't. All that had been done was the basic CBC panel with differentials that had been tested. I am SO upset about this. The Dr. had the appt. notes from the previous Hematologist explaining the extensive blood tests, x-rays, and ultrasounds that I had had. I've seen them, they are very clear that I was Anemic.
