She was good in the beginning then her mood swings and constant tardiness started, if she was in a bad mood she would lower your medication. She actually told me to go to the hospital to get an MRI since my insurance wouldn't approve mine. She talked behind the patients backs and was just overall unprofessional. She wore flip flops to work and depending on her mood was whether or not you received your medication. She's clearly tired of this profession and needs to retire.
Keeps you waiting 3 hours rude staff find someone else
She would not even return my calls or give me my MRI results once she found out my insurance would not cover injections. Could care less that I was in pain. Terrible excuse of a so called Dr. Should have her license taken away. I have never written a review on a Dr before, but felt compelled to warn others of this evil, uncaring woman.
Has been the one doctor that has been successful in managing my pain to where I can function. I am so grateful to Dr.Varela And highly recommend her.
i been to all kinds of drs and finally this one dr set up an appt for me with dr varela and i been with her for 2 years and she REALLY helped me. I have 2 young children and she made it possible for me to get out of bed and let my kids see a mother they deserve i feel normal again like i use to before i got sick i would recommend dr varela to anyone thanks DR VARELA
